Tesla Model Y 2024 First Drive: Owner's Guide - 13 Hidden Features, Tips, and Tricks
1. Control your car with Apple Watch.
Previously, the only way to control your Tesla with your Apple Watch was through third-party apps, but now you can use iPhone shortcuts to control your Tesla directly. Here's how you can do it. First thing you want to do is go to your “Shortcuts App” on your iPhone, there you'll see all the shortcuts like “Locking or Unlocking the Tesla”, “Opening the frunk or the trunk”, “Dog Mode”. There's tons of stuff on there. Once you see the one you like, click the three dots button, then click “New Shortcut”. This will add the feature you desired to the home screen. That’s all.

To add it to your Apple Watch, tap the “i” icon at the bottom of the screen, from there you have to enable “Show on Apple Watch.” If it doesn’t appear immediately, restart both your watch and your phone.
Additionally, you can use Siri to control your Tesla by setting up these shortcuts. Just say the command you've linked to your shortcut, and Siri will execute it for you.
So I got my watch here. I don't know how well you can see this but I'm going to hold the button down. “Turn off puppy mode”. Okay, continue. Yes.
