One thing I missed - to set your Home & Work locations for quick navigation, press & hold on either “Home” or “Work”, then you’ll be prompted to add an address. Once set up you can then swipe down in the search bar and the car will automatically route home, or if you are at home, it will automatically route to work.

China's 2025 Leapmotor C10 is looking to shake up the ever-expanding fully electric vehicle segment of the mainstream mid-size SUV market. Yep, that's currently dominated by the Tesla Model Y, but the C10 is looking to upset the establishment with its unwavering focus on value for money.

Of course, the Model Y has won over plenty of buyers with its increasingly sharp pricing, so the C10 is planning to go even lower, possibly undercutting the Tesla's entry-level price by about $10,000. Would-be owners won't be shortchanged, though, with the Leapmotor offering a long list of standard features and even longer driving-range options.

In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Andrew Chesterton travels to Italy to get an early taste of the new C10 ahead of its Australian release date. So, what does he make of it and the emerging Leapmotor brand more generally? Watch on to find out.
