📦 Update on *Shipping:*
The center wheel caps with Tesla logo are now shipped separately. Contact the seller after purchase and they'll do so.
The price is shown lower with higher shipping costs to make use of an EU tax rule. If the price without shipping is lower than 150 EUR the tax is collected by Aliexpress. Otherwise it would be collected by the delivery company and they usually add a handling fee.

❇️ Update on *Range Loss:*
I've been driving with the new wheel covers for some weeks and miles. I didn't notice any range loss so far. I tried to measure the efficiency but didn't get a fair result. The influence on range by other factors (traffic, temperature, wind,...) seems to be bigger than the influence from the wheel caps.
With the release of software update 2022.36.2 and the new energy app - I'm currently doing a new comparison test!

2024 Tesla Model Y in-depth Walkaround

The 2024 Tesla Model Y, starting at $44,630, is an all-electric SUV that offers impressive performance and practicality. It boasts a range of 283 to 331 miles, depending on the model, with an efficiency of 3.6 to 4.0 miles per kWh. The battery options include a 60 kWh and a 78 kWh pack, supporting a maximum charge speed of 250 kW. Charging the Model Y from 0-100% using AC power takes approximately 7 hours and 34 minutes with an 11 kW charger. Using DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 0-80% in just 27 minutes. The charge port is conveniently located at the left rear of the vehicle.

The power outputs of the Tesla Model Y range from 347 hp to 432 hp. It features a base electric engine and is equipped with a 1-speed direct drive transmission and all-wheel drive. The vehicle also offers a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 lbs., making it versatile for various hauling needs.

In terms of suspension, the Model Y comes with a standard four-wheel independent suspension and stabilizer bars. Its dimensions include a length of 187.0 inches, an overall width of 83.8 inches with mirrors (75.6 inches without mirrors), and a height of 64.0 inches. The wheelbase measures 113.8 inches, providing a stable and comfortable ride.

The Model Y offers a generous cargo capacity of 34.3 cubic feet with all seats in place, which expands to a maximum of 76.2 cubic feet when the seats are folded down. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in a manufacturer-claimed 3.5 seconds, has a turning circle of 39.8 feet, and a ground clearance of 6.2 inches. The curb weight of the vehicle is 4,398 lbs., and its maximum towing capacity is consistent at 3,500 lbs.

ABOUT LUDICROUS FEED

Ludicrous Feed is a Sydney-based YouTube channel that started in 2018 after Tom purchased his Tesla Model S. He wanted to show the reality of Australian daily life with his family and an electric vehicle. Tom provides straightforward candid insights into key issues around EV adoption such as vehicle range, charging infrastructure and road trip planning. The weekly live stream provides an opportunity for audience members to engage with others from the EV community as well as to stay up to date with the latest industry news. Tom also has a Tesla Powerwall 2 coupled with rooftop solar and has reviewed many other electric vehicles for the channel including brands such as BYD, Polestar, Volvo, MG, Hyundai, Genesis, Kia, Cupra and Rolls Royce.
